Andy Wowor is an Indonesian-born US resident who has a background in chemistry and biochemistry. Leveraging his scientific background, Andy transitioned into the dynamic world of commercial goods and consumer packaged goods. Beyond his pursuits in trade and technology, Andy passionately expresses himself through storytelling. Based in the vibrant city of Chicago, he frequents the Lincoln Park Zoo and the Art Institute, fueling his love for both animals and art. With an adventurous spirit, Andy enjoys traveling and engaging in enlightening conversations with fellow global citizens.

Andy’s work in chemistry and biochemistry has been published in several prestigious peer-reviewed journals, including Biophysical Journal, Journal of Bacteriology, Journal of Molecular Biology, and Biochemistry. The novel approaches Andy utilized to observe molecular interactions, as detailed in Methods in Cell Biology, Journal of Molecular Biology, and Biochemistry, were groundbreaking physical biochemistry techniques at the time. As a faculty member, Andy collaborated with students and colleagues on various projects, including scientific outreach videos, dance and music projects, and a review of the transcription process.

Andy’s commercial contribution spans multiple industries. He has experience with a wide range of products, including food technology, packaging, regional merchandise, seasonal, sporting goods, toys, designer shoes, designer sunglasses, and designer accessories. Andy has worked with historical retail giants like Sears, Kmart, and Nordstrom, as well as renowned manufacturers and suppliers such as Hasbro, Mattel, Lego, Spin Master, MGA Entertainment, Samsonite, Fast Forward, Fashion Accessory Bazaar, Hi Mark Group, Sport Squad, Fung Seng International, WestRock, i2r, Coppice, and Shorr.
